Dental Care
There’s no better way to protect your smile than with regular dental care. Under both dental plans you will have coverage for basic preventive services such as teeth cleaning and X-rays, and comprehensive services such as fillings and oral surgery. The plans will differ based on the premiums and the level of coverage provided.
As with the health plans, you may visit any dental provider you choose, but you usually pay less when you stay in the network. Network dentists will also file claims for you. If you use a non-network dentist, you will have to pay out of pocket at the time services are received and then submit a claim for reimbursement.

Guardian issues ID cards to its members, however it is not required to receive dental care. When you visit your dentist either present your Guardian ID card, or identify yourself as a Guardian Dental participant and provide your Social Security number or other identifying information. This will allow your dentist to research your coverage details and file your claim (network dentists).
You can view, print or email an image of your ID card from the Forms and Materials section of the Guardian Anytime website.
